Abstract:
Methods, apparatus and systems for wireless monitoring for motion detection and localization are described. In one example, a described system comprises: Type 1 devices; Type 2 devices; and a processor. Each Type 2 device is configured for: asynchronously receiving, from each of a respective subset of Type 1 devices associated with the Type 2 device, a respective wireless signal through a respective wireless multipath channel impacted by a motion of an object in a venue; asynchronously receiving, from each of a subset of a respective set of at least one other Type 2 device interconnected wirelessly with the Type 2 device, a respective wireless signal through a respective wireless multipath channel impacted by the motion of the object; and obtaining a set of asynchronous time series of channel information (ATSCI), wherein each ATSCI is associated with a respective wireless multipath channel and is obtained based on the asynchronously received respective wireless signal. The processor is configured for monitoring the motion of the object based on the set of ATSCI associated with each Type 2 device.

In one example, a described method comprises: transmitting a first wireless signal from a first wireless device with transmit antennas through a wireless multipath channel of a venue; receiving a second wireless signal by a second wireless device with receive antennas through the wireless multipath channel, wherein the second wireless signal differs from the first wireless signal due to the wireless multipath channel that is impacted by a motion of an object in the venue; obtaining a number of time series of channel information (TSCI) of the wireless multipath channel based on the second wireless signal, wherein each TSCI is associated with a respective one of the transmit antennas and a respective one of the receive antennas; preprocessing the number of TSCI; and monitoring the motion of the object based on the number of preprocessed TSCI.

Abstract:
Methods, apparatus and systems for wireless sleep monitoring are disclosed. In one embodiment, a described sleep monitoring system comprises: at least one sensor in a venue, wherein the at least one sensor comprises a wireless non-contact sensor having no physical contact with the user; a processor communicatively coupled to the at least one sensor; a memory communicatively coupled to the processor; and a set of instructions stored in the memory. The set of instructions, when executed by the processor, causes the processor to perform: obtaining, based on the at least one sensor, a plurality of time series of sensing features (TSSF) associated with a sleep motion of a user in the venue, and monitoring the sleep motion of the user jointly based on the plurality of TSSF. At least one TSSF of the plurality of TSSF is obtained by: communicating, based on the wireless non-contact sensor, a wireless signal in a wireless multipath channel of the venue, extracting a time series of channel information (TSCI) of the wireless multipath channel of the venue from the wireless signal, and obtaining the at least one TSSF based on the TSCI.

In one embodiment, a described presentation system comprises: a presentation device with a user-interface; a processor communicatively coupled to the presentation device; a memory communicatively coupled to the processor; and a set of instructions stored in the memory. The set of instructions, when executed by the processor, causes the processor to perform: determining a plurality of time series of analytics (TSA) associated with a lifelog of a living object, determining a common time axis for the plurality of TSA, and generating a presentation that presents the plurality of TSA synchronously and jointly in a hybrid manner based on the common time axis. Methods, apparatus and systems for wireless vital signs monitoring are described. In one embodiment, a described system comprises: a transmitter, a receiver, a processor. The transmitter transmits, using N1 transmit antennas, a wireless signal through a wireless multipath channel of a venue, while a first object in the venue is having a first repetitive motion. The receiver receives, using N2 receive antennas, the wireless signal through the wireless multipath channel, and extracts a plurality of time series of channel information (TSCI) of the wireless multipath channel from the wireless signal. N1 and N2 are positive integers. Each of the plurality of TSCI is associated with a transmit antenna of the transmitter and a receive antenna of the receiver. The processor computes a first information of the first repetitive motion based on the plurality of TSCI, and monitors the first repetitive motion of the first object based on the first information.
