Abstract:
Nonwoven, limited wear coveralls consist of a matching left and right side panel joined together along a line extending from collar to crotch in front and back. In one embodiment, a portion of the line in back consists of a two to four-inch elastomeric strip. In a second embodiment, an elastomeric shoulder panel is provided in back along with an elastomeric strip from waist to crotch in back. In a third embodiment, elastomeric gussets are provided in back, and an elastomeric insert running from adjacent the waistline front and back and along the inseams of the legs.

Abstract:
A protective garment is described that is particularly suitable for application such as spray painting and the like. The garment includes a top with a "Z" closure front opening and a separate bottom. The front of both the top and bottom is made from a nonwoven having a smooth calendered outer surface and an uncalendered inner body facing surface, and the back of both the top and bottom is made from a breathable material. The result is a very high degree of comfort and protection from contamination, as well as reduced pilling and release of fibers from the garment.

Abstract:
There is disclosed a nonwoven fabric laminate formed from an olefin copolymer, olefin terpolymer, or a blend of olefin polymers. Particularly, the improved fabric laminate is formed from a polymer having a crystallinity of less than 45% and preferably between 31-35% and most preferably about 32%. The fabric laminates formed from layers that are spun-bonded or melt-blown have improved characteristics including higher tear strength, greater tensile energy, greater abrasion resistance, better fabric drape and softness, and less particulate emission. There is also disclosed a low particle emission, sterilizable garment for use in clean rooms, paint rooms, and operating rooms.
