A61P 9/00
A61P 11/00
A61P 31/00
US Classification:
514568, 562465, 562429
Abstract:
The present application describes modulators of MCP-1 or CCR-2 of formula, (I) or stereoisomers or prodrugs or pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof, wherein T, W, X, Y, Z, R, R, Rand R, are defined herein. In addition, methods of treating and preventing inflammatory diseases such as asthma and allergic diseases, as well as autoimmune pathologies such as rheumatoid arthritis and transplant rejection using modulators of formula, (I) are disclosed.

Selective Flow Visualization Of Traced Particles

US Patent:
2013003, Feb 14, 2013
Filed:
Jul 24, 2012
Appl. No.:
13/556366
Inventors:
Wei Li - Princeton NJ, US
Feng Qiu - Plainsboro NJ, US
Daphne Yu - Yardley PA, US
Assignee:
Siemens Corporation - Iselin NJ
International Classification:
G09G 5/00
G06T 15/00
US Classification:
345419, 345581
Abstract:
A method for tracing a plurality of virtual particles through a flow filed includes receiving a flow field. A flow domain is divided into cells. Virtual particles are defined within the flow domain and values are collected for flow properties at each cell. A histogram is generated for each cell representing the collected flow properties for that corresponding cell. The histogram includes, for each of the one or more flow properties, a plurality of bins defining ranges of property values and a count of virtual particles within that cell that exhibit those properties. The histograms for the plurality of cells are advected with respect to the flow field over time. A graphical representation of the plurality of particles within the flow domain is rendered based on the advected histograms for the plurality of cells using a graphics processor.

Volume Rendering From Three-Dimensional Medical Data Using Quantum Computing

US Patent:
2020024, Jul 30, 2020
Filed:
Jan 25, 2019
Appl. No.:
16/257590
Inventors:
- Erlangen, DE
Christoph Vetter - Hopewell NJ, US
Feng Qiu - Pennington NJ, US
International Classification:
G06T 11/00
G06N 10/00
G06T 15/08
G16H 30/40
Abstract:
To reduce complexity and corresponding run time, quantum computation is used for rendering a volume. The quantum computation may search for voxels along a ray or the minimum or maximum. The quantum computation may orient (e.g., rotate) data for more efficient searching for the maximum or minimum. Due to the superposition in quantum computing, the efficiency in volume rendering medical images is increased as compared to traditional binary approaches.

Unified 3D Volume Rendering And Maximum Intensity Projection Viewing Based On Physically Based Rendering

US Patent:
2017023, Aug 17, 2017
Filed:
Mar 8, 2016
Appl. No.:
15/063632
Inventors:
- Erlangen DE, US
Feng Qiu - Pennington NJ, US
Lining Yang - East Windsor NJ, US
International Classification:
G06T 15/06
G06T 7/00
Abstract:
In rendering in medical imaging, the MIP and VRT modes are emulated using physically-based rendering, such as Monte Carlo ray tracing. By weighting the rendering based on user or other input, where along a continuum of MIP to VRT to render is selected. A sequence of different images may be rendered with different settings at different points on the continuum using the same window level, classification, or other parameters.

High Quality Embedded Graphics For Remote Visualization

US Patent:
2016036, Dec 15, 2016
Filed:
Jun 9, 2015
Appl. No.:
14/734003
Inventors:
- Munich, DE
John Paulus, JR. - East Windsor NJ, US
Feng Qiu - Pennington NJ, US
Daphne Yu - Yardley NJ, US
International Classification:
G06T 15/08
G06T 15/04
G06T 5/50
G06T 15/00
G06T 15/20
G06T 9/00
Abstract:
Apparatuses and methods for rendering and compositing two-dimensional images for remote visualization using a multi-pass rendering technique are provided. A server computer renders a three-dimensional volume separately from one or more three-dimensional graphical objects to be embedded in the rendered image of the volume. The server compresses and transmits the separately rendered images to a client computer. The client computer decompresses the rendered images and generates a composite image using the rendered images. If a user manipulates, adds or deletes an embedded object, the client computer generates a new composite image using the previously rendered volume image. In the case of a new or manipulated embedded graphical object, the server only renders the manipulated or new object.
