Abstract:
Methods and materials for modulating (e.g., increasing or decreasing) carotenoid levels in plants are disclosed. For example, nucleic acids encoding carotenoid-modulating polypeptides are disclosed as well as methods for using such nucleic acids to transform plant cells.
