Alexander J. Warren was born in March 1962 in city of Poznan in Poland to working class family as first of two children. After High School, he first immigrated to Western Europe and then at age 20 he was admitted to USA in 1982. First Scuba diving experience came with open water class taken on Cruise Ship as he was working as a casino dealer in Caribbean Islands in 1988. Diving became instant infatuation; after obtaining Divemaster and Open Water Instructor rating Alex certified upwards of 100 students. In 1995 Art Hummel dive shop owner and employer, at that time, talked Alex into taking Cavern and Cave Courses in North Florida. After obtaining Full Cave Certification from Dustin Clesi at Steamboat Dive Center in Branford, Alex started diving with Alan Owens from Lake City in most popular caves sites of Northern Florida. In natural progression as Cave Diver, Alex took Trimix Course with Larry Green at Eagle Nest Technical Divers. Next came exploration dives, at first done solo and side mounting, and later with Michael and Sherry Garman on their projects. Since Alex Warren participated in and organized several exploration projects. In 2003 and 2004 cave diving took second place to newly developed business, but in second part of 2005 he resumed his most precious hobby. With the new group of cave divers; he is exploring new cave passages, keeping cave access open by maintaining landowner relationships, developing new diving procedures and equipment as well as passing his experiences and knowledge to the next generation of Cave Explorers.
