About:
I am a native of Brooklyn (Brooklyn Tech. and Brooklyn College) and have lived in Phoenicia both full and part-time since1972. This has helped me to gain a very thorough knowledge of the central Catskills region. I began as a Lic. Salesperson at Ruth Gale Realty in 2004 and became the owner in 2007. In my prior business life I worked for the NY Telephone Co. (now Verizon), IBM and Dana Corp. In 1980 I opened Auto Internationale Foreign Auto Parts in Brooklyn with a partner and no employees, and sold it in 2001 with two locations and 30 employees. The Catskills have always held a magical attraction for my wife Jane and me (married in 1967) and we were finally able to become full-time Phoenicia residents in 2002. I am active in the local community currently being Chairman of the Phoenicia Water Committee and a voting member of the Phoenicia Business Association.. The principal goal of Ruth Gale Realty is to operate a business which makes ethical, honest and fair real estate transactions for both buyers and sellers.
