There are two things that have always struck us about living in Los Angeles… Number one: you never know who you are talking to in this town. And Number two: you never know what will be behind that door. We like people. And we like houses. Los Angeles is rich in both, and real estate mixes the two into a fine cocktail. The architecture of Los Angeles is diverse–the wild west had its influence on the lay of the land and the houses that cover it. The mystery and allure of what is behind that door keeps us on the hunt and makes real estate a never-ending process of discovery. We are realtors, artists, parents and partners. Like many residents of Los Angeles, we are transplants. Alyssa is from the PA; I’m from the VA; thanks to fate, we met in the CA. Alyssa started her career in Lake Tahoe, but the call of the city was stronger than the call of the wild. She worked initially in the west side with top producing agents, but once she had the skills to pay the bills, she moved to the east side, where we now live and work. Echo Park is our home; we’ve been lucky to watch it evolve into the now discovered gem that it is. For myself, I came to Los Angeles for the movies; first as an actor, and then later as a producer and director. But family life, and it’s new and wonderful commitments, shifted our priorities and when the opportunity to work together presented itself, we jumped in with both feet.
