A receiver is optimized by adapting parameters of components within the receiver. Various component parameters are adapted by using either a least means squared algorithm or a steepest descent algorithm. Techniques described herein allow user sort data objects in a user interface. The user is able to sort the data objects by throwing them in the user interface. For example, a user imports a collection of data objects into a user interface. The data objects are then displayed graphically in the user interface. The user sorts the data objects by selecting them with an input device and throwing them toward a separate location on screen. The location on screen where the user throws the data objects is called a bucket. A bucket captures data objects thrown in its direction. Abstract:
An organic light-emitting diode (OLED) display may have an array of organic light-emitting diode pixels that each have OLED layers interposed between a cathode and an anode. Voltage may be applied to the anode of each pixel to control the magnitude of emitted light. The conductivity of the OLED layers may allow leakage current to pass between neighboring anodes in the display. To reduce leakage current and the accompanying cross-talk in a display, the pixel definition layer may disrupt continuity of the OLED layers. The pixel definition layer may have an undercut to disrupt continuity of some but not all of the OLED layers. The undercut may be defined by three discrete portions of the pixel definition layer. The undercut may result in a void that is interposed between different portions of the OLED layers to break a leakage path formed by the OLED layers.

Technologies described reduce the amount of time between requesting content and receiving the requested content. In some embodiments, a client provides a search query. A search result page is generated and, prior to returning the search result page to the client, some or all of the search results are asynchronously pre-fetched and cached. The search query can include custom parameters that are also included in the pre-fetch requests. The display may include moisture blocking structures such as organic emissive layer disconnecting structures that introduce one or more gaps in the organic emissive layer during evaporation so that any potential moisture permeating path from the display panel edge to the active area of the display is completely terminated.
