About:
Ann Macdonald has been selling real estate in Brooklyn since 1999. Believing that there is no better investment than real estate, she has bought and sold townhouses and co-ops in Manhattan and Brooklyn, as well as owning property in the Hamptons, Vermont and once the island of Vieques. For the past 15 years she has lived in a brownstone in Ft. Greene. Ann knows well the highs and lows of being seller and buyer. This Kentucky native is proud to call Brooklyn her home. With a master's degree from Columbia University and 3 years of post graduate work at NYU, Ann had a brilliant career as a psychotherapist and clinical social worker. Her 23 years of intensive work with a huge variety of individuals taught her a thing or two about helping people make the right choices. Additionally, Ann's leadership qualities helped produce Gilda's Club and Resolve, Inc. (Manhattan). Currently, she coordinates a men's homeless shelter at the Lafayette Avenue Presbyterian Church, serves on the Session and is a Trustee for Yellow Barn, the Chamber Music School and Festival in Putney, Vermont. When you do not see Ann selling or listing real estate, you might find her at a yoga class, a book club, or catching the latest and indie and at BAM. A world traveler, Ann recently returned from Cuba on a People to People mission.
