Gripping Handle For Supporting A Tool Extension

US Patent:
8186019, May 29, 2012
Filed:
Mar 17, 2011
Appl. No.:
13/050025
Inventors:
Daniel A. Peluso - Centereach NY, US
Anthony N. Fresco - Melville NY, US
International Classification:
B25G 1/04
US Classification:
16436, 16421, 16427
Abstract:
A handle for a rotating tool extension is disclosed. The handle includes a body member having a central portion with first and second end portions. The body member is positionable along an axis of rotation of the rotating tool extension and includes a bore formed in the body member extending therethrough along the axis of rotation. A liner may be at least partially disposed within the bore, and may be at least partially removable from and insertable within the bore. A rotating tool extension is at least partially inserted within the liner. Alternatively, the body member may include at least one roller bearing member contacting at least a portion of the rotating tool extension during rotation of the extension. The handle and extension may be provided as a combination and also as a kit.

Vibrational Therapy Assembly Adapted For Removably Mounting To A Bed

US Patent:
2008013, Jun 12, 2008
Filed:
Dec 4, 2007
Appl. No.:
11/950357
Inventors:
Roger J. Talish - Hillsborough NJ, US
Kenneth J. McLeod - Vestal NY, US
Kenneth Urgovitch - Montague NJ, US
Anthony Fresco - Melville NY, US
Clinton T. Rubin - Port Jefferson NY, US
Assignee:
Juvent, Inc. - Somerset NJ
International Classification:
A61H 23/00
A61H 1/00
US Classification:
601 51, 601 61
Abstract:
At least one apparatus capable of producing resonant vibrations, such as at least one vibrational therapy apparatus that includes at least one platform member having at least one vibrating plate assembly for providing vibrational energy is disclosed. The platform member is configured for mounting to a patient support structure such as a bed or a surface of a pallet. The vibrational therapy apparatus includes a mounting apparatus configured to receive the at least one vibrating plate assembly for securely positioning and removably mounting the at least one platform member to the patient support structure, such as with respect to a surface of the bed or of the pallet. A mounting apparatus is configured to support at least one apparatus capable of producing resonant vibrations, wherein the mounting apparatus is configured for and adapted for mounting the at least one apparatus capable of producing resonant vibrations to a patient support structure.

Solute Ion Coulomb Force Accelaration And Electric Field Monopole Passive Voltage Source

US Patent:
2010019, Aug 12, 2010
Filed:
Aug 23, 2007
Appl. No.:
12/733322
Inventors:
Anthony N. FRESCO - Melville NY, US
International Classification:
F03H 99/00
US Classification:
60202
Abstract:
At least one electrode assembly is configured to enable like charged ions to convert potential energy of the like charged ions into kinetic energy based on the Coulomb forces therebetween via linear alignment thereof, or enable a first portion of like charged ions to convert potential energy of the first portion of like charged ions to kinetic energy based on interaction with the Coulomb forces of a second portion of like charged ions, or enable a first portion of like charged ions to convert potential energy of a second portion of like charged ions to kinetic energy based on similar interaction. Various electrode assemblies are described and corresponding methods of converting potential energy of like charged ions to kinetic energy. The like charged ions are configured to form a passive electric field voltage source that may have one or more electric field monopoles to enable motion of a mobile assembly.

Apparatus And Methods For Cooling And Sealing Rotary Helical Screw Compressors

US Patent:
5653585, Aug 5, 1997
Filed:
Oct 17, 1994
Appl. No.:
8/323584
Inventors:
Anthony N. Fresco - Upton NY
International Classification:
F25B 4302
US Classification:
418100
Abstract:
In a compression system which incorporates a rotary helical screw compressor, and for any type of gas or refrigerant, the working liquid oil is atomized through nozzles suspended in, and parallel to, the suction gas flow, or alternatively the nozzles are mounted on the suction piping. In either case, the aim is to create positively a homogeneous mixture of oil droplets to maximize the effectiveness of the working liquid oil in improving the isothermal and volumetric efficiencies. The oil stream to be atomized may first be degassed at compressor discharge pressure by heating within a pressure vessel and recovering the energy added by using the outgoing oil stream to heat the incoming oil stream. The stripped gas is typically returned to the compressor discharge flow. In the preferred case, the compressor rotors both contain a hollow cavity through which working liquid oil is injected into channels along the edges of the rotors, thereby forming a continuous and positive seal between the rotor edges and the compressor casing.
