The present invention relates generally to methods of use and compositions for enhancing skin hydration in a person, attracting and binding moisture in the air to the skin's outer layers, transporting surface moisture below the skin's stratum corneum, increasing skin moisture content, plumping and tightening the skin, protecting the skin from moisture loss to the environment, supporting optimal skin barrier function, and/or stimulating production of the skin's own Natural Moisturizing Factor.
