• My editing of Pulitzer Prize–winning biography praised as "one of the most dramatic instances of an editorial rescue operation in the annals of university press publishing" in letter to the editor, Perspectives, 1991. • My review essay in the Journal of Scholarly Publishing lauded on AAUP directors’ listserv as a “gem,” etc. • Directed production and personally supervised printing of three books recognized for outstanding design and print production. Cultural Connections: Museums and Libraries of Philadelphia and the Delaware Valley, was recognized with a Gold Award and named Best of Show in the 1992 National Gold Ink Awards competition. Cultural Connections was an American Institute of Graphic Arts selection in the same year. Public Art in Philadelphia won the Pewter Award in the 1993 National Gold Ink Awards and The Black Female Body: A Photographic History, won a Bronze in the 2002 National Gold Ink Awards.
