What I love most about being a Realtor is the opportunity for helping first time home buyers find just the right home that fits their needs. I know this process is new to them and I take the time to thoroughly explain the process from start to finish so they will feel at ease. There is a great satisfaction in getting a family settled in their first home where they can create lasting memories. Many of my first clients have become repeat clients who have happily referred me to their friends and family when they also are in the market to buy and sell real estate. In turn I have also treated them to the same first class service that I gave to the referring person. I want to be your real estate consultant for life and I know I can only do that if I meet or exceed your expectations which I do my best to provide. I started selling real estate in 1985 and have ridden both the ups and downs of the market; so I understand what it takes to sell in both a hot and a slow market. I am always learning to improve my knowledge and skills to better represent my clients. I primarily specialize in the sales of residential properties whether they are purchased for an investment as a rental property or as a personal residence. I may live in Texas but I also speak "Californian' for those who are relocating here from that area as I previously lived there. I can assist in giving you hints and ideas to make your transition easier. My real estate designations include CRS (Certified Residential Specialist), ePro, Green Specialist, and Counseling for Action (1031 exchange course). Real estate is my primary business, but I am also a freelance writer. My writing experience on the real estate side includes being a past editor and columnist of a regional trade publication as well as the author for the Real Estate Market Forecast for Salem Press in their Careers Guide to Industries for 2011. I have also won awards for my short stories and have been published in various publications for children's stories and inspirational pieces.
