Abstract:
A card game where cards are arranged in columns, rows or circles that move in random or pseudo-random fashion. The player uses a point device to cause a line to intersect the cards. The cards that are intersected form the player's hand. The game can be played with split representation cards that are designed so that when the card is first displayed, either the suit or the rank is displayed, but both the suit and the rank are not displayed together. When the player selects the card, both the suit and the rank are displayed together as in a conventional card.

This invention is a multi-handed poker game where the cards are dealt in one or more diamond patterns. In one embodiment, each side of the diamond is a separate hand. In some embodiments, the cards can be exchanged from one hand to another. In another embodiment, there is no card exchange; the cards are dealt, the player decides which cards to hold and the non-held cards are replaced. In another embodiment, the diamond or diamonds (in multiple hands) have one card in each corner and the fifth card in the center of the diamond. In this version of the game, the diamonds can be linked and so that the corner cards are common to one or more adjacent hands.

This invention is for a poker-type card game, a method to play a game and an electronic device that displays the game. The game is played by having rows or columns of cards move across a video screen. An icon moves across the screen. When the icon hits a card, that card becomes part of the player's hand. The hand can then be compared to a paytable and the player is paid accordingly. The game can also be played with symbols instead of cards, and the icon can either be controlled by the player or it can move automatically.
