Using The Transition State Of A Superconductor To Produce Energy

US Patent:
6861770, Mar 1, 2005
Filed:
Nov 13, 2001
Appl. No.:
10/008297
Inventors:
Craig Travers - Honeoye Falls NY, US
International Classification:
H02K023/18
US Classification:
310 10, 310 11, 505162
Abstract:
A method of using a superconductor to generate energy. The superconductor is alternated between a temperature above and below a critical temperature defined by a transition between the superconducting and non-superconducting state. The superconductor interacts with a magnetic field as the superconductor changes states. Energy is harnessed by coupling with the magnetic field as its strength fluctuates. The method would be particularly suitable for harnessing solar energy in space.

International Classification:
H04M001/00
US Classification:
455/556000, 455/550000, 455/066000
Abstract:
A portable computing device with a microcomputer, a first display, a magnifying optical element through which the first display is viewed to provide a user with an enlarged virtual display, a first input device to communicate with the first display, a second direct display, and a second input device that can be a keyboard such that the second display can interact with the keyboard to display alphanumeric and other symbols so the user can see what is being typed. The second display is directly viewed and is configured to display the same data being entered in the selected field of the first display. Typically, the first display is a liquid crystal color display, capable of displaying a full range of text and graphic images such as can displayed on a conventional computer monitor. A virtual image of the first display is viewed by holding the lens close to an eye. To a user, the virtual image appears as large a real display provided on a conventional desktop or laptop.

Swim Ar Goggles

US Patent:
2021015, May 27, 2021
Filed:
Aug 23, 2018
Appl. No.:
16/641607
Inventors:
- West Henrietta NY, US
Craig R. Travers - Honeoye Falls NY, US
International Classification:
A63B 71/06
H04N 5/225
A63B 33/00
G02B 27/01
Abstract:
Swimming goggles have a left-eye covering and a right-eye covering, each having a corresponding transparent window that defines a field of view and each further having a seal extending between the transparent window and the swimmer's face and formed to exclude water. A near-eye display is in signal communication with an image processor and forms a virtual image in the left- or right-eye field of view.
