Description:
In addition to serving Chicagoland buyers and sellers, Cindy's real estate expertise includes sales of residential developments throughout Chicago's north side. She is a Certified Negotiation Expert (CNE) and an Accredited Distressed Property Representative (ADPR). Cindy has an extensive background in managing school and senior living food programs, which includes planning and overseeing the construction of more than seven new kitchens and the renovation of many more. She draws on her personal history of collaborating with architects, designers and contractors on these large projects to easily coordinate communication between building developers and her clients during the home customization stage. She can easily break down industry jargon and can also read blueprints and understand electrical and plumbing codes. Just as important as customizing a home to your specifications, is knowing that your agent has the knowledge and capabilities to get you the best price on what is often the largest purchase you will ever make. Because of her CNE designation, Cindy has the advantage of using the proven CNE negotiating techniques to help obtain a price that is fair and one you are comfortable with. With the number of distressed properties on the rise, there is a greater likelihood that your ideal home, including one with an ideal price, will be a distressed property. Because distressed property sales are complex and very time-consuming, it is crucial that your agent has the ADPR designation. An ADPR, such as Cindy, has been trained in real estate sales of foreclosures, short sales, auctions and Real Estate Owned (REO) property sales. The ADPR designation includes training that allows agents to push through the sales cycle more quickly, understand how to accurately price a distressed home, negotiate effectively and understand state-specific foreclosure processes. Knowing that your agent has the proper training to handle a distressed-property sale can provide you with invaluable peace of mind. Cindy is originally from the Rockford area where she attended Rockford College and earned a BA in Business Administration and a minor in Computer Science. She currently resides in the Andersonville neighborhood. Her favorite things about Chicago are the energy of city life, the beautiful lakefront and the diversity of its many neighborhoods. When she is not helping buyers find the homes of their dreams, she spends much of her time at the adoption center at PAWS Chicago where she helps animals find their forever homes. Her other hobbies include biking and creating wheel-thrown pottery at Lillstreet Art Center.
