Omni-Directional, Orthogonally Propagating Folded Loop Antenna System

US Patent:
7053856, May 30, 2006
Filed:
May 19, 2004
Appl. No.:
10/849430
Inventors:
Daniel J. O'Sullivan - Babylon NY, US
Assignee:
Honeywell International, Inc. - Morristown NJ
International Classification:
H01Q 7/00
H01Q 11/00
H01Q 1/38
US Classification:
343866, 343843, 343700 MS
Abstract:
The present invention relates to an omni-directional, orthogonally propagating, one-quarter wavelength folded loop antenna. The antenna may be embodied in a wire, flat metal stock or printed configuration. The antenna comprises a folded loop antenna comprising an upper and lower horizontal element with a first and a second end and each of a length that is approximately forty-five percent of the overall one-quarter wavelength of the folded loop antenna connected by a vertical element. The antenna further comprises a ground plane having a minimum vertical length of three-sixteenths of a required wavelength and a horizontal width of a minimum of one-fifth of a wavelength as measured from the physical center of a first end of an antenna feed element. Further aspects of the folded loop antenna system are enabled with polarization diversity and selectable secondary resonance frequency and 10 dB return loss bandwidth.

Extendible Ceiling Hook

US Patent:
4556184, Dec 3, 1985
Filed:
Aug 8, 1983
Appl. No.:
6/521051
Inventors:
Daniel J. O'Sullivan - Kew Gardens NY
International Classification:
A47H 110
US Classification:
2483301
Abstract:
An extendible ceiling hook comprises an apparatus for suspending a hanging plant at various distances from a ceiling for the purposes of ease of maintenance, appearance and the general well being of the plant. An extension line, wound on an extension spool inside the extendible ceiling hook may be reeled in or out or made to rest at a desired distance from the ceiling by raising or lowering the suspended plant pot in a controlled fashion. The suspended plant can also be easily rotated to any desired angle to fully exploit any available sunlight and further enhance its appearance.

Convenient Baby Chair

US Patent:
4511177, Apr 16, 1985
Filed:
Jul 30, 1982
Appl. No.:
6/403919
Inventors:
Daniel J. O'Sullivan - Kew Gardens NY
International Classification:
A47B 8302
US Classification:
297136
Abstract:
A convenient baby chair comprises a slidable leaf cut from the top of a table and a seating structure secured to the underside of the table top directly beneath the slidable leaf. As the slidable leaf is drawn out from the table top the resulting opening in the table top exposes the seating structure. The seating structure is constructed so that an infant may be seated facing at or away from the table top area. When not in use the slidable leaf can be pushed back into the table top area and, in doing so, it pulls the seating structure close to the underside of the table top to improve the appearance of the table in this position.

Interactive Transit Information System

US Patent:
5214689, May 25, 1993
Filed:
Jan 27, 1992
Appl. No.:
7/826677
Inventors:
Daniel O'Sullivan - Aberdeen NJ
Assignee:
Next Generaton Info, Inc. - Morgan Ville NJ
International Classification:
H04M 164
H04M 350
H04M 1108
US Classification:
379 88
Abstract:
An interactive transportation information system provides schedule information to a caller utilizing a Touch-Tone type telephone. The system includes a database storing a digital code specific to each station, schedule information and a plurality of speech files for generating messages to the caller. Voice messages prompt the caller to press keypad buttons for a departure station, an arrival station, and a desired departure or arrival time. The database is then searched for a transportation vehicle departing the departure station at the time closest to the desired time, whereupon a voice message is generated identifying its departure and arrival times. The system also resolves station name ambiguities and simplifies dialogue for travel to and from the stations.

Methods And Systems For Linking Tokenized Data

US Patent:
2020016, May 21, 2020
Filed:
Nov 19, 2018
Appl. No.:
16/195366
Inventors:
- Purchase NY, US
DANIEL BRIAN O'SULLIVAN - White Plains NY, US
International Classification:
G06Q 20/10
Abstract:
Provided are methods and systems for improving data tokenization processes and mobile device data accessibility. A data warehouse may receive first provisioning data for tokenizing a first data set and a device identifier for a mobile device. The tokenized first data set may be stored in a database record associated with the device identifier. The data warehouse may receive second provisioning data for tokenizing a second data set and the device identifier. The data warehouse may then determine that both tokenized data sets are associated with the mobile device based on the device identifier. When the tokenized first data set is used by the mobile device, the data warehouse may notify a network associated with the second data set. The network may update its data processing rules based on the notification.
