About:
My real estate business has been built around the guiding principle that it's all about you. I love helping buyers find their dream home or helping sellers make a big move. That's why I work with each client individually, taking the time to understand their lifestyles, needs, and wishes. This is about more than a certain number of bedrooms or a particular ZIP code. It's about your life and that’s important to me. My diverse background in sales, finance, and military service give me a unique view on how to get the job done. When you work with me, you get a knowledgeable and professional REALTOR, a committed ally to negotiate on your behalf, and the backing of a trusted company, Keller Williams Realty. System And Method For Using A Monitoring Device To Efficiently Manage And Assure The Safety, Quality And Security Of Goods Stored Within A Truck, Tractor Or Trailer Transported Via A Roadway

US Patent:
2021008, Mar 18, 2021
Filed:
Sep 25, 2020
Appl. No.:
17/033604
Inventors:
DAVID ARENA - HAMMONTON NJ, US
International Classification:
H04W 4/35
G06Q 10/08
G06F 16/29
G06Q 30/00
Abstract:
A system and method for ensuring the safety of goods transported via highway, particularly humanly consumable goods, is taught by the present invention. Three main aspects include a smart phone hub, a portable sensor for monitoring the transported goods and a physical locking mechanism to lock the trailer. According to the present invention, a truck driver uses a smart phone to interface between a trailer payload supervisor and the payload itself, to insure the safety of the transported goods. Upon loading a trailer, a truck driver uses a smartphone to 1) activate the internal sensor and 2) snap an image of the locked trailer (with a padlock and a license plate, for example). A padlock according to the present invention may be interfaced to the smart phone electronically, so that while in motion, the smart phone insures that the lock remains locked and the sensor remains in a non-alarm state.

Portable Electronic Wireless Lock For Efficiently Managing And Assuring The Safety, Quality And Security Of Goods Stored Within A Truck, Tractor Or Trailer Transported Via A Roadway

US Patent:
2021005, Feb 25, 2021
Filed:
Aug 12, 2020
Appl. No.:
16/991852
Inventors:
DAVID ARENA - HAMMONTON NJ, US
International Classification:
G07C 5/00
G07C 9/00
Abstract:
A portable electronic wireless lock for ensuring the safety of goods, including humanly consumable goods. The lock is controlled by a smartphone, which also acts as a communications hub between the lock and a truckload owner or supervisor. According to the present invention, a truck driver uses a smartphone to interface between a trailer payload supervisor and the payload lock itself, to ensure the safety of the transported goods and comply with regulations such as the Food Safety Modernization Act (“FSMA”). An electronic lock may, according to the present invention, interface electronically to a smartphone, so that while in motion, the smartphone ensures that the lock remains locked and controls its operation. Alternatively, such an electronic lock may be designed to permit only a limited number of locking cycles initiated by a truck driver until a loading supervisor intercedes in compliance with FSMA.
