I am a Colorado Native. I grew up in Wheat Ridge and Indian Hills and I spent my teenage years in Arvada. I graduated from Arvada West High School in 1977, home of The Wild Cats—purple and white, in 1977. I graduated from the University of Colorado at Denver in 1984, prairie home of The Buffalos—gold and black. I have a BA in English and a minor in Journalism. I have been in real estate for 12 years. I only just joined the amiable and talented firm of RE/MAX Alliance 2008. Prior to joining RE/MAXI was the owner and managing broker of a boutique real estate firm in Northwest Denver—Raven Realty Inc. I have lived in Northwest Denver since 1982 and I have lived in the same charming yellow and green 1892 Queen Ann Cottage since 1989. My home office is at 3330 Meade Street—you are welcome to come by for visit. My favorite landmark is the Oriental Theatre at 44th and Tennyson, a 1920’s gem decorated in a Moorish style. These days the theatre hosts many entertaining live performances. My favorite neighborhood is West Highlands, but I like to say that I know Denver and it’s neighborhoods like—“ Favorite poems.” There are many wonderful neighborhoods in the Denver Metro area. Two of my favorite novels are Lonesome Dove and A Prayer for Owen Meany. My favorite contemporary poet is Mary Oliver. My favorite philanthropies are The Men’s Leadership Alliance and The Southern Poverty Law Center.
