Abstract:
Systems and methods for mobile webcasting of multimedia and geographic position for a real-time web log are described. In one aspect, the systems and methods capture multimedia at multiple consecutive geographical locations during a web logging session. The systems and methods also acquire geographical position data corresponding to multiple geographical positions or locations where the multimedia was and is currently being captured. The systems and methods communicate the multimedia and geographical position data to a central server to update webpage(s) of a web site. An end-user interfacing with a web site browser application accesses the webpage(s) for real-time presentation of the multimedia and geographical position data.
