Born in California and attended De Anza College. Moved to Homer, Alaska in 1973. We lived a subsistance live style on 40 acres. We built our home from the trees we cut, planted gardens and hunted for meat and fish. In 1982 we decided to commercial fish for King Crab. We fished the Katchemak Bay, Cook Inlet, Kamishak Bay, Kodiak and the Bering Sea. I moved to Kona in 1986 but Bob continued to fish in Alaska until the year 2000 and commuted back and forth. I got my Hawaii real estate license in 1988. We raised 3 great kids here in Kona. Two of them have moved off island, graduated from college and have nice professions in their fields. My youngest is attending Washington State University. My hsuband and I also have a railing company. We have a shop that fabricates railing for pool decks, lanais and stairways. We also custom build vehicle and pedestrian gates. Bronze, Aluminum, glass and pickets.
