My primary interest outside of real estate is American history. Since 1964
I have collected presidential campaign items. I currently specialize in presidential campaign and inauguration items for Abraham Lincoln
as well as similar items for his opponents (Stephen Douglas
John Bell
John Breckinridge
George McClellan and Jefferson Davis). I have written many published articles on the subject and was a founder of the "Rail Splitter"
a quarterly journal for collectors of Lincolniana. I have edited this journal since its inception in 1995. We have mounted historical exhibits at the Re-dedication Ceremonies at Grant's Tomb and at Federal Hall in Manhattan ("Abraham Lincoln in New York"
in conjunction with the Lincoln Bicentennial in 2009). I work out three times weekly

and "commune with nature" by making occasional forays to Monmouth Park and Freehold Raceway with like-minded colleagues who are good judges of horse flesh.
