About:
Elana lived all around the world before deciding that there's no place like home. A native Brooklynite, first from Ditmas Park and then Park Slope, she entered real estate to share her love of the borough and community with those who want to make their home here. She has a BA in Communication from The State University of Buffalo, as well as a Masters in International and Intercultural Management for the School For International Training in Brattleboro, Vermont. She served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Sri Lanka, lived on a Kibbutz in Israel and ran a language school in Ecuador. She was part of the dot.com boom in San Francisco, but eventually got homesick. For more than 11 years, she has worked as an ESL Teacher for the public school system. Elana comes to you with a worldly approach to nuances and niches of each and every block. She knows not only the best restaurants but also the best bodega to get an iced coffee or where to listen to the newest music. When she is not working, she can be found playing tennis, writing her memoir, or hanging out on a stoop catching up with a neighbor.
