I am highly motivated and knowledgeable as to what it takes to run a successful boarding and bath and dip department. At my last employer, Lover's Lane Animal Medical Center, I received two raises and a promotion in under 7 months time with no prior experience in the field. My skills include being able to care for multiple pets, both dogs and cats, in boarding and hospital settings. Maintaining a clean and disease free kennel and spa at all times, the feeding of multiple pets at a time, including special diets and some medications. I have a natural talent when it comes to grooming, I just seem to be able to know what to do to make the experience the least traumatic it can be for a pet. I have groomed both dogs and cats including both aggressive and non aggressive animals. My grooming skills include the use of proper restraint, nail trims on both cats and dogs, ear flushing, ear plucking, and ear cleaning. I have been trained in anal gland expression, some Sulfur Lyme dips, many shaves, light trims, and a few breed specific cuts.
