Abstract:
The system, device and method may improve location or address identification including an on-site electronic location identification display device operating in communication over a network with a software application to assist response or delivery times of a driver with reduced reliance on maps, phone calls or geo-location devices. The approach includes hardware and software to communicate, display and clearly identify the location of a home, apartment, business or any other establishment. Various components of the embodiments include wireless communication (e.g. Bluetooth, Wi-Fi etc.) enabled hardware, RF technology, web application software and network (e.g. internet) connectivity. A programmable electronic display device (e.g. LED, LCD or light board) syncs with another device (e.g. phone, tablet, computer via a router) and through internet connectivity to provide an illuminated signal, indicating the street address or location, to a delivery driver or emergency responder, for example. The approach can be used in connection with the delivery of goods or services, to inform emergency services exactly where they're going and clearly indicate a street address for any other purpose.
