Ventilation For Electric Generator System

US Patent:
2021008, Mar 18, 2021
Filed:
Sep 10, 2020
Appl. No.:
17/017051
Inventors:
- Elkhart IN, US
Barry Ousley - Syracuse IN, US
Evan Whitney - Edwardsburg MI, US
International Classification:
H02K 9/06
B60P 3/32
Abstract:
An electric generator system may include a housing assembly that forms an inlet vent opening and an outlet vent opening, an electric generator, an engine, and at least one fan positioned within the housing assembly, an electrical component, and an electrical component fan that is positioned proximate to the inlet vent opening and configured to draw air from externally of the housing assembly through the inlet vent opening and direct air to the electrical component during operation of the electric generator system. The at least one fan may be positioned generally opposite of the electrical component fan relative to the electrical component to draw air across the electrical component during operation of the electric generator system.

Torsion Axle Pin Box

US Patent:
2020036, Nov 19, 2020
Filed:
May 12, 2020
Appl. No.:
16/872476
Inventors:
- Elkhart IN, US
Vishwatej Mane - South Bend IN, US
Evan Whitney - Edwardsburg MI, US
International Classification:
B62D 53/08
Abstract:
A fifth wheel pin box includes a torsion axle having an outer tube connected to a towed vehicle mounting bracket and an inner bar connected by pivot arms to a coupler plate bearing a coupler pin. The pin box may be connected between a towed vehicle and a tow vehicle in an orientation in which both chucking loads and bounce loads cause the inner bar to rotate with respect to the outer tube. Resilient, compressible members disposed between the inner bar and outer tube absorb the loads.

Wirelessly Electrically-Coupled Deployable Apparatus

US Patent:
2020027, Aug 27, 2020
Filed:
Feb 19, 2020
Appl. No.:
16/794290
Inventors:
- Mishawaka IN, US
Vishwatej Mane - South Bend IN, US
Brian Carlson - South Bend IN, US
Evan Whitney - Edwardsburg MI, US
Nathaniel Fuller - Granger IN, US
Scott McKinnon - Union City MI, US
International Classification:
H02J 50/10
B60R 3/02
B60P 3/36
F21V 23/06
Abstract:
A wirelessly electrically-coupled deployable apparatus comprising a deployable structure supported on a supporting structure for motion between a stowed position and a deployed position, an electrically-powered device carried by the deployable structure, a wireless electrical power receiving circuit carried by the deployable structure and connected between the device and a wireless electrical power receiver, and a wireless electrical power transmitting circuit carried by the supporting structure and connected between an electrical power supply and a wireless electrical power transmitter. The wireless electrical power transmitter is carried by the supporting structure, and the wireless electrical power receiver is carried by the deployable structure, in respective positions where wireless electrical power transfer between the wireless electrical power transmitter and receiver powers the device via the receiving circuit when the deployable structure is in its deployed position.

Folding Bed System

US Patent:
2020019, Jun 25, 2020
Filed:
Dec 17, 2019
Appl. No.:
16/716544
Inventors:
- Elkhart IN, US
Jeremiah R. BRADLEY - Nappanee IN, US
Evan WHITNEY - Edwardsburg MI, US
David G. SKINNER - Elkhart IN, US
Dominic LAYNE - South Bend IN, US
Brian CARLSON - South Bend IN, US
International Classification:
A47C 17/20
B60N 3/00
A47C 17/165
B60N 2/34
Abstract:
A folding bed system includes a bed frame having a head section, a center section, and a foot section. The center section is connected to first and second slide mechanisms, and the head section is connected to first and second guide mechanisms. The slide and guide mechanisms are connectable to opposed walls of a structure. In some embodiments, a hinge assembly for a folding structure includes a center post securable to the center section, and a connecting bracket movably coupled with the center post that is vertically displaceable on the center post between a down position and an up position. A forward bracket is secured at one end to the connecting bracket and is securable at an opposite end to the head section, and an aft bracket is secured at one end to the connecting bracket and is securable at an opposite end to the foot section.
