Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to new and optimized processes for the preparation of micro- and nano-scale capsules containing lubricant chemical additives. The present disclosure also relates to micro- and nano-scale capsules prepared by such processes, which are useful in a variety of applications, including automotive lubricants, diesel lubricants, industrial lubricants, metal-working lubricants, coolants, and process fluids. Micro- and nano-scale capsules prepared as described herein have the required properties that such capsules need to exhibit in order to function effectively and meet the requirements imposed by engine lubrication conditions. The microcapsules may be dispersed in a lubricating oil such that the lubricant exhibits improved stability and anti-wear performance, thereby improving engine fuel efficiency and performance.

Collecting dimension data (e.g., height, chest size, etc.) associated with users and leveraging the dimension data to generate and display size distributions in association with products in an online marketplace is described. The size distributions may summarize data so that users may make sizing decisions based on users with similar user dimensions who acquired a same garment. The size distributions may summarize data so that a user may compare values corresponding to ranges of user dimensions in the context of a size of garment. The values may be determined based on adjusting a baseline value based at least in part on a number of users who acquire a garment, return a previously acquired garment, or provide negative feedback about the size of the garment. Graphical representations, such as pie charts, bar charts, etc., that are representative of the size distributions may be presented to users for providing contextual recommendations and/or information to streamline online shopping transactions.

Abstract:
Embodiments of the invention provide methods and systems to analyze energy consumption and support demand management of a portfolio of facilities. Some embodiments of the invention include a computer implemented method for collecting and cleansing street addresses, time series energy consumption and weather data, classifying energy end-use types, detecting energy related characteristics, creating facility energy models, estimating energy savings potentials and generating customized recommendations for facilities. In some embodiments, the computer-implemented system and method also prioritizes a portfolio of facilities at each stage of the analysis based on facility data quality, level of confidence and energy savings potentials.
