G06F 3/0484
H04L 29/08
G08G 1/01
Abstract:
A system comprising a computer-readable storage medium storing at least one program and a method for determining vehicle overlap with a parking space is presented. The method may include accessing a set of pixel coordinates defining a location of a vehicle within an image, and translating the set of pixel coordinates to a set of global coordinates defining a geospatial location of the vehicle. The method may further include accessing a set of known coordinates of the parking space. The method may further include determining an overlap amount by comparing the global coordinates of the vehicle with the known global coordinates of the parking space, and determining the vehicle overlaps the parking space based on the overlap amount transgressing a threshold overlap amount. The method may further include updating a data object associated with the vehicle to indicate the vehicle overlaps the parking space.

Reduction Of Geomagnetically Induced Currents

US Patent:
2018014, May 24, 2018
Filed:
Apr 12, 2016
Appl. No.:
15/568439
Inventors:
- New York NY, US
Francisco DE LEON - Bogota NJ, US
International Classification:
H02H 7/22
H02H 1/00
H02H 9/00
Abstract:
Methods, systems, and apparatuses are disclosed for reducing geomagnetically-induced currents. The method includes connecting a plurality of switching devices at a neutral grounding connection point of at least one transformer bank. In a system having two terminals, the method includes grounding one transformer bank through a switch so as to reduce geomagnetically induced current. In a system having more than two terminals, the method includes grounding transformer banks through multiple switches, where the reduction is performed independently for each transformer bank. The method further involves determining a switching frequency and a duty cycle based on an evaluation of factors including effectiveness and fault current detection.

Shengyi Liu - Sammamish WA, US
Assignee:
THE BOEING COMPANY - Chicago IL
International Classification:
H02M 1/14
H02M 7/217
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for converting direct current into alternating current. The direct current is converted into a number of alternating currents using a switch system. The number of alternating currents is filtered using a set of inductors and a set of capacitors. Higher-frequency electromagnetic interference is blocked using a choke located between the set of inductors and the set of capacitors.

Abstract:
A power conversion system is disclosed that provides multiphase power, including phase voltages for each phase of the multiphase power. The system comprises a plurality of inverters that generate PWM output voltages based on PWM control signals. A plurality of inductive components is configured to receive the PWM output voltages to generate the phase voltages. The PWM output voltages cause circulating current flows through the inductive components. A voltage controller is employed that is responsive to the phase voltages to generate voltage modulation signals corresponding to the phase voltages. A plurality of current sharing channels are respectively associated with each of the plurality of inductive components and are configured generate current sharing modulation signals in response to the circulating current flows. The PWM control signals are generated based on modulation signals obtained by combining the current sharing modulation signals and voltage modulation signals.
