Coupling Assembly

US Patent:
7607460, Oct 27, 2009
Filed:
Jun 12, 2006
Appl. No.:
11/451857
Inventors:
Garry P. Johns - Mission Viejo CA, US
Corey N. Johns - Mission Viejo CA, US
Tim Kuitems - Orange CA, US
Assignee:
JPRO Dairy International, Inc. - Mission Viejo CA
International Classification:
B65B 1/04
US Classification:
141329, 141319, 141320, 141321
Abstract:
The present invention is directed to a mixing unit comprising a sealed container joined to a second container. When the second container is fully united with the sealed container, a seal in the sealed container is breached and the contents of the first container and the second container can be mixed. The seal is breached by a bushing enclosed within the sealed container or enclosed in a coupler between the sealed container and the second container which is advanced against the seal, and ruptures the seal when the second container is advanced into the coupler of the coupler portion of the sealed container.

Sealed Storage Container With A Coupling Assembly

US Patent:
7635012, Dec 22, 2009
Filed:
Jun 12, 2006
Appl. No.:
11/451996
Inventors:
Garry P. Johns - Mission Viejo CA, US
Corey N. Johns - Mission Viejo CA, US
Tim Kuitems - Orange CA, US
Assignee:
JPro Dairy International, Inc. - Mission Viejo CA

B65B 1/04
B65D 25/08
US Classification:
141322, 141112, 141329, 206222
Abstract:
An initially sealed storage apparatus carrying a material is provided.

Bottle Mixing Assembly

US Patent:
8226126, Jul 24, 2012
Filed:
Aug 24, 2009
Appl. No.:
12/546535
Inventors:
Garry Patrick Johns - Oceanside CA, US
Corey Neil Johns - Oceanside CA, US
Timothy Henry Kuitems - Orange CA, US
Assignee:
JPro Dairy International, Inc. - Oceanside CA
International Classification:
F16L 35/00
US Classification:
285 3, 206222
Abstract:
A mixing assembly includes a coupler with a temporary seal that is connected to a first container containing mix ingredients. An internally and externally threaded insert is threadedly mated with the internally threaded coupler in an initial position short of breaching the temporary seal. A second container is screwed into the internally threaded insert. Sealing relationships are formed between the coupler and the insert, and between the insert and the received second container. Once the second container is secured to the insert, the coupler is screwed downwardly toward the insert to cause the insert to threadedly advance toward and eventually breach the temporary seal to enable contents of the first container to mix with that of the second container.

Packaging System For Storing And Mixing Separate Ingredient Components

US Patent:
2006023, Oct 26, 2006
Filed:
Apr 21, 2005
Appl. No.:
11/112931
Inventors:
Garry Johns - Mission Viejo CA, US
Corey Johns - Mission Viejo CA, US
International Classification:
B65B 1/04
US Classification:
141329000, 141100000
Abstract:
A packaging system is provided for storing and mixing separate ingredient components. The system includes a first bottle used for storing a first ingredient component which includes a dispensing port disposed on a top end, a mixing port disposed on a bottom end, and a seal integrated within the mixing port. The system also includes a second bottle used for storing a second component ingredient which includes a bottle neck having an opening disposed therein wherein the neck is adapted to be installed into the mixing port of the first bottle. Also, an extended tip is formed on the distal end of the bottle neck. When the bottle neck of the second bottle is installed into the mixing port of the first bottle, the seal from the first bottle is broken by the extended tip from the second bottle establishing fluid communication between the first and second bottles and allowing the ingredient components to mix.

Shaker Bag Mixing Assembly

US Patent:
2016003, Feb 11, 2016
Filed:
Jun 15, 2015
Appl. No.:
14/739851
Inventors:
- OCEANSIDE CA, US
GARRY PATRICK JOHNS - OCEANSIDE CA, US
Assignee:
JPRO DAIRY INTERNATIONAL, INC. - OCEANSIDE CA
International Classification:
B01F 15/00
B01F 13/00
Abstract:
A mixing assembly includes a bag of appropriate size, configuration, shape and material and a closable spout that may have extensions of various lengths, shapes and configurations to provide enhanced mixing of a component contained in the bag upon the addition of a second component. Once the closure of the spout is removed, the second component, typically a liquid such as water, milk, juice, chemical, oil substrate, or the like, can be added to the container for mixing. After the closure is refitted, the two components are mixed then consumed or dispensed, either by removing the closure or from a separate spout or nozzle fitted to the closure.
