The neuromuscular stimulator for use with a patient during general anesthesia comprises a housing, a pair of electrode terminals disposed on the outside of the housing, a pulse generator within the housing, wherein the pulse generator is disposed to controllably generate one of TOF and Tetanus stimulations to the electrode terminals, and the pulse generator having an intensity controller to controllably vary the level of intensity of the stimulations. The stimulator also has a liquid crystal display (“LCD”) on the outside of the housing, with the LCD being disposed to display a mode of operation and a level of intensity representative of the stimulation being applied to the electrode terminals from said pulse generator.

Skin Treatment Apparatus

US Patent:
2014002, Jan 23, 2014
Filed:
Jul 19, 2012
Appl. No.:
13/552657
Inventors:
Henry Ping Chang - San Marino CA, US
International Classification:
A61B 17/00
US Classification:
606131
Abstract:
A skin treatment apparatus includes a handle body, a driving unit received in a receiving cavity of the handle body, a treatment head unit, and an inlet arrangement. The treatment head unit includes a supporting member provided at the front end portion of the handle body, a treatment cap detachably attached on the supporting member, a treatment shaft rotatably connected to the driving unit and extended from the driving unit into a treatment cavity, and an abrasion head integrally formed at a free end of the treatment shaft in such a manner that when the treatment shaft is driven to rotate, the abrasion head is also driven to rotate with respect to the handle body. The inlet arrangement is formed at the supporting member of the treatment head unit for providing a predetermined amount of skin treatment fluid in the treatment cavity.

Facial Steamer Machine With Detachable Function Units

US Patent:
6022327, Feb 8, 2000
Filed:
May 4, 1998
Appl. No.:
9/072575
Inventors:
Henry Ping Chang - San Marino CA
International Classification:
A61H 700
H05K 714
US Classification:
601 15
Abstract:
The present invention provides a facial steamer machine with detachable function units, in which all kinds of skin care appliance are independently constructed into a plurality of function units which are adapted to incorporate with the facial steamer machine, so that the user may selectively combine several function units to detachably connect and equip with the facial steamer machine to form a single skin care system. The facial steamer machine of the present invention can also reduce the overall manufacturing cost by utilizing some common components such as the movable stand and the power wiring arrangement. Therefore, the present invention occupies less storage space and operating space. Moreover, it is easier to maintain too.

Facial Steamer With An Adjustable Steamer Arm

US Patent:
5984952, Nov 16, 1999
Filed:
Jul 28, 1997
Appl. No.:
8/901160
Inventors:
Henry Ping Chang - San Marino CA
International Classification:
A61F 700
US Classification:
607109
Abstract:
A facial steamer having an adjustable steamer arm, which includes a steamer spread arm, a first adjustable device, a second adjustable device hingedly and rotatably connect to the first adjustable device by means of two connecting means, a steam transporting mean, and a mounting device for rotatably mounting the second adjustable device in position, enables the adjustable steamer arm to be selectively rotated along an connecting axis thereof and swung up and down for enabling the cosmetician to selectively adjust the adjustable steamer arm to an adequate position with respect to the face position of the patient more easily. Moreover, the facial steamer is specifically designed to be located at a hand reaching position close to the cosmetician for ensuring easy operation.

Bendable Steamer Arm For Facial Steamer

US Patent:
5970533, Oct 26, 1999
Filed:
Aug 25, 1998
Appl. No.:
9/139944
Inventors:
Henry Ping Chang - San Marino CA
International Classification:
A61H 3312
US Classification:
4537
Abstract:
A bendable steamer arm for facial steamer includes a tubular rear-arm having a front end and a rear end rotatably mounted on a steamer machine, a fore-arm having a connecting end and a steam spreading opening provided thereon, a connector joint adapted for connecting the front end of the rear-arm with the connecting end of the fore-arm in a bendable manner, and a bendable steam tube extending from the steamer machine to the fore-arm and passing through the connector joint for transmitting steam generated by the steamer machine to the steam spreading opening of the fore-arm of the steamer arm. Therefore, the bendable steamer arm enables a fore-arm of the steamer arm to bend left and right with respect to a rear-arm of the steamer arm, so as to enable the cosmetician to rapidly adjust the operation angle of the steamer arm and easily aim the steam outlet provided on the fore-arm at the affected part of the patient.

Rotation Joint For Facial Steamer Arm

US Patent:
5904379, May 18, 1999
Filed:
Aug 3, 1998

9/128591
Inventors:
Henry Ping Chang - San Marino CA
International Classification:
F16L27/08
US Classification:
285 61
Abstract:
A rotation joint which is adapted for connecting a steamer arm to a facial steamer machine includes a clamping mount affixed to the facial steamer machine, an arm head which is affixed to the steamer arm having a head sleeve rotatably mounted in the clamping mount, a stopper device for limiting the rotation angle of the steamer arm, and a locking means for fastening the steamer arm to a desired inclined angle. The rotation joint limits the adjustable rotation angle of the facial steamer arm to less than 180 degree, so that the steamer arm is blocked to avoid positioning horizontally. In other words, in all situation during operation, the steamer arm extends upwards to prevent any hot water from dropping down to the patient body. Besides, the rotation joint also enables the steamer arm to be adjusted to a hang down position so as to save the storage space when it is not in use.
