Abstract:
Embodiments described herein include systems and methods for utility monitoring. Accordingly, some embodiments include receiving utility data from a utility, where the utility data includes operational data of the utility for a predetermined area of the utility, determining a subset of the utility that identifies a district metered area (DMA), and determining a first flow rate into a subset of the utility. Some embodiments include determining a second flow rate out of a subset of the utility, detecting a change in the utility based on the first flow rate and/or the second flow rate, altering the subset of the utility, based on the change, and providing data related to the subset to a user.
