Flexible Lighting System

US Patent:
2020029, Sep 17, 2020
Filed:
Mar 10, 2020
Appl. No.:
16/814429
Inventors:
- Butler PA, US
Patrick William Maloney - Burnt Hills NY, US
James J. Levante - Tempe AZ, US
Anthony James Simons - Sydney, AU
Jeffrey Thomas Saunders - North Narrabeen, AU
International Classification:
F21S 4/24
A45F 3/04
H05B 45/10
H02M 7/00
G06F 13/42
Abstract:
A representative embodiment of a lighting system includes a carrying bag having a first opening with a control panel cover; a mounting bracket arranged in the carrying bag; a power supply coupled to or arranged on the mounting bracket; a control panel arranged within the first opening and coupled to the mounting bracket; a first flexible light strip; a second flexible light strip; and a power cable coupleable within the carrying bag to the control panel, the first flexible light strip, and the second flexible light strip. The first and second flexible light strips are coupleable to the power cable to receive DC power from the control panel, and may be extended throughout a structure, such as a tent, using a plurality of hangers. In a representative embodiment, the first flexible light strip provides white light and the second flexible light strip provides blackout light.

Triac Low Voltage Dimming Control System

US Patent:
2016019, Jul 7, 2016
Filed:
Mar 14, 2016
Appl. No.:
15/068838
Inventors:
- Tempe AZ, US
James J. Levante - Tempe AZ, US
Randy J. Wright - Chandler AZ, US
International Classification:
G01R 19/00
H05B 33/08
Abstract:
A TRIAC low voltage dimming control system for effectively controlling the dimming of low voltage lighting using a TRIAC dimmer. The TRIAC low voltage dimming control system generally includes a TRIAC analyzer that applies a test voltage to a TRIAC dimmer and measures the amount of time required for the TRIAC dimmer to conduct electricity. Utilizing the measured time for the TRIAC dimmer to conduct electricity, the TRIAC analyzer is able to calculate an approximate state of the TRIAC dimmer and provide a corresponding level of DC electrical power to a DC load.

Led Strip Light Connector System

US Patent:
2014021, Aug 7, 2014
Filed:
Apr 11, 2014
Appl. No.:
14/250699
Inventors:
James J. Levante - Tempe AZ, US
Tanner J. Leland - Tempe AZ, US
International Classification:
F21V 21/002
H01R 12/81
US Classification:
36224904, 439632
Abstract:
A LED strip light connector system for providing a reliable connection between a flexible LED light strip and a connector. The LED strip light connector system generally includes a connector adapted to receive an end of a light strip, and a support member extending outwardly from the connector to support the light strip near the connector. The light strip is attached to the surface of the support member thereby preventing movement of the light strip with respect to the connector.
