Non-Fossil Fuel Additives For Predominantly Hydrocarbon Fuels

US Patent:
6299656, Oct 9, 2001
Filed:
Dec 29, 1998
Appl. No.:
9/221803
Inventors:
William H. Richardson - Largo FL
James A. Wilcox - Sarasota FL
Douglas A. Palmer - Sarasota FL
Assignee:
Arcall, L.L.C. - Clearwater FL
International Classification:
C10L 1000
US Classification:
44603
Abstract:
Non-fossil gaseous fuel, evolved in underwater carbon arcing, and characterized by significant heat content and substantial freedom of its combustion effluents from noxious gases and/or particulates, is similarly useful in whole or part as an additive to predominantly hydrocarbon fuels--whether in bulk storage or transport, flowing in a pipeline, fueling a cutting/welding torch, or fueling an internal-combustion engine. Dosing a predominantly hydrocarbon fuel with all or a selected part of such gaseous fuel mixture inhibits leakage and substantially diminishes noxious effluent gases and particulates as characteristic of the combustion of predominantly hydrocarbon fuels.

Total Contact Cast System And Methods For Safe And Easy Removal Thereof

US Patent:
2018017, Jun 28, 2018
Filed:
Dec 27, 2016
Appl. No.:
15/390923
Inventors:
- Benbrook TX, US
Kimberly G. Anderson - Aledo TX, US
Thomas E. Serena - Norwell MA, US
Timothy A. Mayhugh - Erie PA, US
James R. Wilcox - Jacksonville FL, US
Cameron B. Morton - Madisonville LA, US
International Classification:
A61F 13/06
B23D 57/00
Abstract:
A cast system, which includes: a padding layer configured to be disposed within a cast and support a portion of a patient's limb; a casting material which hardens around the padding layer and form an outer shell of the cast surrounding the patient's limb; and a wire saw configured to be disposed within the cast and extend along a longitudinal axis of the cast. The wire saw has a cutting surface which is at least partly enclosed by a plastic sheath. By enclosing the wire saw cutting surface in a plastic sheath, the saw does not lock up during the cutting operation, cutting is facilitated, allowing for easy and safe removal of the cast by pulling at least one end of the wire saw so as to cut through the outer shell of the cast.

Total Contact Cast System And Methods For Safe And Easy Removal Thereof

US Patent:
2017023, Aug 24, 2017
Filed:
Feb 2, 2017
Appl. No.:
15/423144
Inventors:
- Hingham PA, US
James Richard Wilcox - Deerfield Beach FL, US
Assignee:
SERENAGROUP, INC. - Hingham PA
International Classification:
A61F 13/04
A61F 5/05
A61F 5/01
Abstract:
An orthopedic cast system, which includes: a padding layer configured to be disposed within the cast and support a portion of a patient's limb; a casting material configured to harden around the padding layer and form an outer shell of the cast surrounding the patient's limb; and a cutting wire configured to be disposed within the cast and extend along a longitudinal axis of the cast. A total contact cast including a cutting wire between the patient's skin and the casting material forming an outer shell of the cast, as described herein, allows for easy and safe removal of the cast by pulling at least one end of the cutting wire in a direction of the opposite end of the cutting wire so as to cut through the outer shell of the cast.
