Jane Locascio is no stranger to the Springfield market. She grew up in Rochester, just outside Springfield, and has lived in and around the Springfield area her entire life. She has been active in the community, serving on a number of various Boards and councils. Currently, Jane is completing her term as Past President of the Springfield Art Association, and is active on the Friends of St. John's Hospital Board. In addition, she stays active with her family, serving as her daughter's Girl Scout troop leader for the past six years. Jane enjoyed a previous career in the accounting profession, working for more than 25 years as an internal auditing professional. After surviving a serious illness, she decided to change careers and do something she had always loved. You see, Jane grew up in a "real estate" home, with her mother being one of the first woman real estate brokers in this area back in 1961. Jane still remembers how excited she would get when her mother asked her to serve refreshments at an open house or asked her to update the MLS book with replacement pages back when it was a 3-ring binder!
