I helped conduct random surveys to generate and present statistical data. Using MRI, I helped research a media buying budget for an ad campaign; the plan the professor, playing the role of client, chose out of 3 others. I created a series of slogans, print ads, radio and television commercial scripts, mailers and newsletters for a variety of different products and services using Adobe Acrobat, Photoshop and InDesign. I helped design a mock ad campaign for Altoids mints including researching and choosing a demographic, then deciding the advertising media and ad timing and creating a series of print ads to reach that demographic. Finally, I presented the entire campaign to the professor. Other courses included news writing, feature writing, writing for new media and writing for TV and radio.
