Abstract:
A method and apparatus for configuring and managing policy configuration associated with a plurality of interfaces of a plurality of devices in a network are provided. This method is executable in a processing system. The processing system includes a processor coupled to a display and user input device. The method comprises displaying an icon corresponding to a device in the network, a plurality of interface indicia associated with traffic flow through the device policy-related information of devices in a network, and, a pair of traffic indicia that indicate a direction of traffic flow with respect to the plurality of interface indicia and the icon. A signal is then accepted from the user input device to indicate selection of an interface indicium. Finally, the policy information of an interface associated with the interface indicium is displayed in accordance with a direction of traffic flow in response to the signal from the user input device.

Abstract:
A method is provided in one example and includes receiving an indication of a start of a point of interest associated with a portion of a video presentation, and determining a start time relative to a start time of the video presentation. The method further includes receiving an indication of an end time of the point of interest, and determining an end time of the point of interest relative to the start time of the video presentation. Abstract:
A surgical cart assembly may comprise a base portion. The base portion also includes a plurality of wheels coupled to the base portion and arranged to permit wheeled movement of the surgical cart assembly. The cart also includes a column extending vertically from the base portion, and a manipulator arm coupled to an end portion of the column opposite to a location of the base portion. The cart further comprises a stabilization assembly coupled to the base portion, the stabilization assembly may include a piston assembly moveable between a retracted position and a deployed position, and an actuation device operably coupled to the piston assembly to actuate the piston assembly between the retracted position and the deployed position. The piston assembly in the retracted position is retracted away from a ground surface on which the cart assembly is supported, and the piston assembly in the deployed position is in contact with the ground surface.

Abstract:
Methods, systems, and apparatuses for controlling surgical systems. In one aspect, a method includes obtaining, at a control subsystem associated with a surgical system, hardware configuration information from a first patient side subsystem that is communicatively coupled to and controlled by the control subsystem; determining a software version to be used by the control subsystem and the first patient side subsystem, wherein determining the software version includes selecting the software version from among a plurality of software versions, and wherein each software version of the plurality of software versions is associated with a particular patient side subsystem; instructing the first patient side subsystem to use the software version; determining whether the software version is currently loaded on the control subsystem; in response to determining that the software version is not currently loaded on the control subsystem, loading the software version on the control subsystem; and initializing the surgical system.
