Jennifer Wheaton has led a charmed life. Bearing the name, Jennifer Jones was named after Hollywood royalty. After all, her parents had moved from West Virginia to California in order to seek a better life for their children. Jennifer made the best of it and rewarded her family with excellence in her academic pursuits. Prior to graduation from high school, IBM selected Jennifer for participation in a special program for academic achievers. From there, she excelled beyond her own expectations. Admission to the prestigious Pitzer College in Claremont, California, Jennifer fortified her education and convinced IBM of her vast potential. Jennifer continued to work for IBM during the summers of her college experience. Jennifer's incisive focus set her sights on IBM as a potential career move long before she graduated from Pitzer. Upon graduation from Pitzer, Jennifer was offered a full time position in sales at IBM. Jennifer Wheaton soared in her executive career at IBM. Over the next 33 years, she would interact with nearly every major executive in the country at IBM while becoming one of the recognized experts in sales within the retail industry at IBM. Jennifer earned tremendous praise and several commendations during her tenure at IBM. She also earned an executive certificate in her field of discipline from Harvard University. In addition to her work at IBM, Jennifer has bought and sold real estate across the country from northern and southern California to Florida. She has developed and designed the interior of single-family homes, duplexes, apartments and commercial buildings alike. Her tastes run from conventional to the eclectic. In her spare time, Jennifer has traveled extensively throughout the world and enjoys great books and avid exercise. Yet, one of her greatest passions from which she derives great honor and satisfaction is her frequent work with the underprivileged and disadvantaged children of the inner city. Jennifer has two marvelous children in Sydney Holmes and David Waller. Sydney graduated from NYU and Howard University. She is currently working on her Ph.D in education. David recently graduated from Amherst College in Massachusetts where he was the captain of the basketball team and one of the outstanding players for all four years of his attendance there. David currently works in Hollywood. Recently, Jennifer married noted attorney, Frank K. Wheaton, a practitioner of sports, entertainment and business law in the national and international arenas for nearly 30 years. They first met in high school when they were 15 years old.
