Dispensing System For Blended Frozen Food Compositions

US Patent:
7290682, Nov 6, 2007
Filed:
Oct 14, 2004
Appl. No.:
10/965323
Inventors:
John Harra - New York NY, US
International Classification:
B67D 5/62
US Classification:
2221466, 222135, 2221455, 62389
Abstract:
An apparatus for dispensing soft serve frozen food product, such as soft serve ice cream and the like, provides the ability to select the fat content or other characteristic of the ice cream dispensed from the machine.

Apparatus For Processing, Storing, And Dispensing Soft Serve Frozen Food Product

US Patent:
7681761, Mar 23, 2010
Filed:
Apr 13, 2004
Appl. No.:
10/552561
Inventors:
John Harra - New York NY, US
International Classification:
B67D 5/62
US Classification:
2221466, 222135, 2221455, 222148, 62389
Abstract:
Soft serve frozen food such as ice cream and frozen yogurt is pumped from a sanitary reservoir into a closed loop flow path that includes an emulsion barrel assembly that intimately mixes the ingredients in the food composition into a smooth consistency frozen food product. A dispensing head allows servings of soft serve food to be withdrawn from the closed loop. A clean-in-place system permits all critical parts of the machine that come in contact with food to be cleaned and sanitized without having to take the machine apart.

Dispensing System For Blended Frozen Food Compositions

Frozen Food Composition

US Patent:
4931321, Jun 5, 1990
Filed:
Mar 3, 1987
Appl. No.:
7/020969
Inventors:
John Harra - New York NY
International Classification:
A23G 904
US Classification:
426615
Abstract:
Fibrous and gelatinous vegetable matter is liquefied and frozen so as to result in a frozen food composition which is dripless and cohesive when exposed to temperatures above its melting point and which has reduced fat and cholesterol content. A preferred vegetable matter is edible rhubarb leafstalks. Various flavoring agents may be added to the vegetable matter. The frozen food composition closely approximates the characteristics of high grade ice cream. Even closer approximation to ice cream may be obtained by using dairy products as flavoring agents.

Gauge For Machine Tools

US Patent:
4622752, Nov 18, 1986
Filed:
Aug 2, 1985
Appl. No.:
6/761968
Inventors:
John Harra - New York NY
International Classification:
G01B 730
US Classification:
33185R
Abstract:
A gauge for determining whether a conductive element, such as a cutting element, fence, gauge rod, gauge shaft, or guiding surface is oriented at a predetermined angle with respect to a reference surface is disclosed and claimed. The gauge includes an indicator, an electrical energy source, and at least one pair of contacts. When the gauge is placed on the reference surface, the contacts are abutted against the conductive element, and the conductive element is oriented at the predetermined angle, a series circuit is completed between the indicator and the energy source. As one example, the gauge can be used to ascertain the angle of a saw blade with respect to a saw table.

Positioning System

US Patent:
2021035, Nov 18, 2021
Filed:
May 14, 2020
Appl. No.:
16/873600
Inventors:
John Martin Harra - New York City NY, US
Alexander Walter Jedynski - Whitestone NY, US
Keith Michael Gildea - Pasadena CA, US
International Classification:
B29C 64/245
B33Y 30/00
B29C 64/209
B29C 64/241
Abstract:
A positioning system moves an object in two generally orthogonal directions using a rotationally adjustable bearing system that connects the object to two pairs of non-parallel rails, the bearing system permitting the object to be smoothly translated in one or two directions to a desired position in planar space. This translation is performed smoothly notwithstanding a lack of parallelism between the linear rails.
