John is in his second career as a real estate professional after 30+ years of management in oil & aerospace manufacturing. After earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management, BSBM from Friends University, he then finished in 2003 with a graduate degree Master of Science in Management, MSM also from Friends University. John's professional background and education has enabled John to become a Top Producer in each year of his Real Estate vocation. This summer John celebrated his 63rd birthday, and he and Genie also celebrated their 43rd wedding anniversary. They raised three, now adult children, have acquired two in-laws, and are blessed with grandson’s Tyler (16) and John IV (2) and granddaughter Sylvia (6). Daughters Erika and Pamela & Dustin McCoy, and son John III & wife Erin all live in the Wichita metropolitan area. All are Maize school district alumni, and attended all the local colleges at one time or another. You may already know John from the many varied school activities at Friends, the years he spent coaching youth sports, or his many business associations. John & Genie can also be seen at any of the local theaters. He is a 32nd degree Scottish Rite Master Mason and is active with a number of units of the Midian Shrine Center. John spends his leisure time bowling, playing golf, or attending automobile racing events. On a warm sunny day, John may be seen riding a Yamaha Royal Star Venture touring motorcycle.
