Animal Monitoring System

US Patent:
2013019, Aug 1, 2013
Filed:
Oct 19, 2011
Appl. No.:
13/824270
Inventors:
Nicholas P. Rettedal - Loveland CO, US
Stephen M. Weilnau - Greeley CO, US
Scott R. Cockroft - Greeley CO, US
Billy J. Yeager - Gilbert AZ, US
Jerry A. Hornick - Gold Canyon AZ, US
John B. Lienau - Milwaukee WI, US
Assignee:
Bella Technologies, LLC - Kersey CO
International Classification:
A61B 5/07
US Classification:
600302
Abstract:
An animal monitoring device configured as a bolus for oral administration to reside in an animal's stomach. The bolus has a substantially inert solid body with a hollow inside space to receive the animal monitoring device. The animal monitoring device includes a radio frequency generator, an animal identification information encoder for outputting the animal identification information of the particular animal. The animal monitoring device can further include sensors to detect physiological and non-physiological animal characteristics such as temperature and a sensed animal characteristic encoder for outputting sensed animal characteristic information. The animal monitoring device intermittently transmits encoded animal identification information and sensed animal characteristic information to a receiver which transmits the encoded information as packets to a specialized computer which allows a computer user access to decoded animal identification information and sensed animal characteristic information as numeric values.

Computer Implemented Animal Management System

US Patent:
2012016, Jun 28, 2012
Filed:
Sep 14, 2010
Appl. No.:
13/391614
Inventors:
Nicholas P. Rettedal - Fort Collins CO, US
Stephen M. Weilnau - Greeley CO, US

Billy J. Yeager - Gilbert AZ, US
International Classification:
G08B 1/08
US Classification:
34053913
Abstract:
Specifically, a computer implemented animal management program having modules which function to match animal information retrieved from a radiofrequency identification device(s) implanted in an animal(s) with animal information retrieved from a database of at least one computer to assess animal condition and time treatment events.

Animal Environmental And Physiological Monitoring System

US Patent:
2021020, Jul 8, 2021
Filed:
Mar 23, 2021
Appl. No.:
17/210070
Inventors:
