I was born and raised in Maryland, just south of Baltimore and 30 minutes from Washington, DC. I attended the University of Maryland. I completed law school at the University of Baltimore, and began practicing law. After a year practicing family law, I switched gears and began representing children with disabilities. I spent many years as a litigation attorney helping students with difficult learning issues obtain appropriate special education services. After a wonderful family vacation in Barbados, we searched for a permanent vacation spot that offered the Caribbean ambiance. We discovered Little Gasparilla Island and fell in love. The island became our home away from home, and many vacations were spent there. The quiet, friendly island life was a complete contrast to the hustle and bustle life in the Washington, DC/Baltimore area, and several years ago we purchased a townhouse at Hideaway Bay Beach Club. After a summer spent on the island, the children voted to stay in Florida rather than return to Maryland. In July 2007, we fulfilled our family dream, I retired from the practice of law and we moved permanently to Charlotte County, Florida. I am very excited to be the Broker/Owner of Florida Shores Real Estate, P.A. We are an independent real estate company with two locations in the Englewood Area to serve our customers better. We have business affiliations with a property management company and a local home builder so we can assist our customers with rental and property management needs as well as custom homes and home renovations.
