Abstract:
A target assembly comprising a target having a generally upright silhouette hinged to a base connected to a stake adapted to be anchored to the ground. An anchor remote from the target is connected thereto with an elongated flexible line containing a biasing spring. The spring biases the silhouette in a generally upright position thereby the silhouette will move to a down position when hit witha projectile and automatically return to an upright position after the force of the projectile has been dissipated.

Abstract:

A counterweight is attached to a downwardly extending arm adjacent the silhouette. The counterweight biases the silhouette in a generally upright position thereby the silhouette will move to a down position when hit with a projectile and automatically return to an upright position after the force of the projectile has been dissipated.

An apparatus for slinging and putting an object that has an elongated cylindrical shaft which accommodates a spurred putter head and a sling assembly on opposite ends thereof. A hand grip is provided on the shaft to hold the apparatus in a desired position. The object is directed toward a desired target by positioning the spur of the putter head into the ground and drawing and releasing the sling while the shaft is held at the desired angle. When the object is on a putting surface, the apparatus is converted into a putter by removing the sling section from the apparatus. The apparatus can be converted into a firearm target thrower by substituting a staked end section for the putter section. When the staked end is implanted into the ground, the sling is used to propel objects into the air for firearm shooting practice.
