A61B 5/024
A61B 5/08
A61B 5/091
A61B 5/11
Abstract:
Provided are apparatuses and methods for non-invasively and continuously measuring physiological parameters of a mammal subject. The apparatus includes multiple sensor systems attached to the mammal subject, and a microcontroller unit (MCU). The sensor systems are time-synchronized and communicate with each other wirelessly and bidirectionally. Each of the sensor systems includes at least one sensor configured to detect a vital sign of the mammal subject and generate a corresponding one of the physiological parameters. The MCU is in wireless communication with the plurality of sensor systems. In operation, the MCU receives, from the sensor systems, and displays the physiological parameters of the mammal subject. The apparatus and method can be used in applications such as developing therapeutics or vaccines for a disease, or diagnosing a disease.

Method And Apparatus For Generating A Flood Event Warning For A Flood Prone Location

US Patent:
2021026, Aug 26, 2021
Filed:
Feb 26, 2020
Appl. No.:
16/802039
Inventors:
- Eindhoven, NL
Kun LEE - Lisle IL, US
Leon STENNETH - Chicago IL, US
International Classification:
B60W 60/00
B60W 40/06
B60W 50/14
G05D 1/02
G07C 5/00
G01C 21/34
G06K 9/00
H04W 4/90
Abstract:
A method, apparatus and computer program product for activating a flood event warning are described herein. In the context of a method, a location may be identified as a flood prone location. Data relating to the flood prone location may be received from one or more remote devices. The method may determine a flood confidence for the flood prone location based upon the data. The method may identify an active flood event for the flood prone location based on the flood confidence and cause a flood event warning to be activated in an instance in which the active flood event is identified.
