Currently residing in Bowling Green, Va. with my soul mate of over eight years, Bill Schaefer, who is the Director of a non profit organization dealing with issues of grief and loss called Sena Foundation. (Sena.org). I am honored to be assistant director of this right minded organization. Our work is never ending, never static. I am proud to be a part of it all. On a personal note, we now have the most incredible blended family. I have an amazing, giving daughter, Melissa who teaches special ed at a regional high school outside of Charelston, SC. I am blessed with an incredible giving son in law, Mike. Together they have given us our beautiful granddaughter, now 2, Stella Sophia who each and every day brings a new reason for joy into our lives. In Florida, we have Bill's son Chris who is an amazing artist on so many levels, graphically, musically and you should see him with a set of pencils. He is married to a multi tasker by the name of Shawna with a heart as big as Wyoming. They have a wildly, wonderful son Tyler whose compassion and thoughtfullness never fail to amaze me. He has a wonderful, fiesty partner (with latiny good looks that accompany that fire). She is a hard worker, single focuesed and a joy to know. Together, they have given us our other ray of light, Brennan, now 1. He is limitless in his energy, curiosity and capacity to love. Yes he truly is a Schaefer man. All the while we are being overseen by the true boss of our entire operation, my Mom alias, BiBi, Nan, Bev, Beverly. She is almost 85, fiester than any woman I have ever known. Loving and giving. She is the fuel that drives us all. Yes, indeed, we are truly blessed.
