About:
Originally from Oklahoma, I moved out to Colorado to ski and attend Colorado State University where I graduated with a degree in Finance and Real Estate. My start in real estate was in Boulder as an operations and marketing manager for a local real estate company. It was a great learning experience for me because while CSU taught me quite a bit about real estate, as you know, the real world can be quite different. From there I moved to Keller Williams to work on a team the focused primarily on foreclosures. It was a world of difference from my previous job. We were assigned properties from lenders where I coordinated property preservation and renovation to secure vacated properties to facilitate maintenance and repairs. I also managed the “Cash for Keys” program with homeowners facing foreclosure. That program gives homeowners cash to leave their home in broom clean condition. It was a very humbling experience that taught me quite a bit about what has happened in this industry. After leaving that team, I started working for myself and started a company focused on purchasing distressed homes and turning them into turn key properties to sell. My company also purchased and managed rental properties as investments. Owning real estate is great because you actually own something that exists. It is not a stock or bond that could disappear, but a physical investment. During that time I came back to Keller Williams and worked with another agent focusing on short sales and mortgages. After some time at KW, I moved on and now am a Realtor with Home Buyers Marketing II. This is where I am at today. I help people like you buy, sell, or invest in real estate, and I love it! When I am not busy working with clients or locating investment properties, I am enjoying the Colorado outdoors. My wife, Lori, and I love to go camping and fishing with our family. I also enjoy sailing here in Colorado if you can believe it. My team is 2x Champion of the Dillion Open Regatta and defending Champion of the Aspen Open Regatta. Hunting is something I enjoy in the fall, but most importantly, I love to ski! Well enough about me, what about you?
