Matthew B. McCormick has worked in Residential and Commercial real estate in the Washington, DC area for over 25 years. For 16 years Matt served at various senior executive level positions, including Executive Vice-President of Residential Services, at one of Washington, DC’s premiere development and management companies, Charles E. Smith. For two years Matt served as the Senior Vice-President & Chief Marketing Officer for Archstone-Smith, formerly the nation’s third largest apartment REIT with a market capitalization of over $12 Billion dollars. In 2004, Matt joined Washington Fine Properties where he quickly achieved the distinction of becoming one of the firm's “Top 5” producers. Although Washington Fine Properties is comprised of only 80 agents, these influential agents sell more homes over $1.5 million than any other agency in the Washington, DC area. Having renovated and lived in homes in many neighborhoods throughout the DC area including Georgetown, Massachusetts Avenue Heights, Kalorama, Dupont, and Arlington, Matt prides himself on his extensive knowledge of these neighborhoods as well his expertise and contacts in renovation. Currently, Matt resides at The Residences at The Ritz-Carlton and is chairman of the Capital Budget and Plan Committee, which gives him a distinct selling advantage over any other agent in the city when it comes to promoting this particular property.
