Self-Tensioning, Level Folding, Collapsible, Pet Enclosure And Carrier

US Patent:
2010012, May 27, 2010
Filed:
Nov 21, 2008
Appl. No.:
12/313533
Inventors:
Michael Patrick McGrade - West Covina CA, US
International Classification:
A01K 1/03
US Classification:
119496
Abstract:
A level folding enclosure is provided for the secure containment and transport of a household pet. Self-tensioning, self-guided, frame members allow for the easy and taut assembly of the rigid support frame. Level folding allows for easy storage and transport when not in use. The frame is assembled and used within a machine washable fabric cover. Tent-style stake peg loops on the exterior corners of the cover and zipper locks ensure the pet's safety and well being. The fabric cover includes numerous pockets and retention devices for the storage of pet supplies. Access to the enclosed pet is possible through three sides of the six sided enclosure. For convenience a carrying case is provided.

Augmented Rodent Trap Device And Method Of Use

US Patent:
2022040, Dec 29, 2022
Filed:
Jul 29, 2022
Appl. No.:
17/877777
Inventors:
Michael McGrade McGrade - West Covina CA, US
International Classification:
A01M 23/30
A01M 23/00
Abstract:
A removeable, adhesive pad sticker used to augment any existing rodent trap by affixation to the top face of the rodent trap. It has an adhesive pad facing up in the region of the bait station. When the rodent steps on it and stops to take the bait, they are no longer capable of quickly moving when they activate the trap's trigger and the kill bar of the rodent trap is released. Even if the rodent does not reach the bait station, their jiggling efforts to extricate their feet and/or lower body from the adhesive wrapper will activate the trigger. This addition to a snap trap raises the kill ratio to approximately 100% but more importantly, allows the kill bar to strike the rodent behind the neck eliminating any unsightly mess.

Vertical Trap

US Patent:
2021001, Jan 21, 2021
Filed:
Jul 15, 2019
Appl. No.:
16/511336
Inventors:
Michael McGrade - West Covina CA, US
International Classification:
A01M 23/30
A01M 23/24
Abstract:
A snap style vermin trap disposed on a planar platform having a concave bait box with a vertical trigger. The bait box is centrally located on the front face of the trigger and positioned at a distance above the top face of the platform so as orientate the vermin into a physical posture that greatly enhances the probability of a kill or capture. The trap may be oriented with the platform beneath or above the rapid actuation means of the snap trap and it may use an optional housing to cover the rapid actuation means.

Beverage Can Sanitizer

US Patent:
2020003, Feb 6, 2020
Filed:
Oct 14, 2019
Appl. No.:
16/601515
Inventors:
Michael McGrade - West Covina CA, US
International Classification:
A61L 2/18
A61L 2/26
C11D 3/48
C11D 17/04
D04H 1/435
D04H 11/00
Abstract:
A unitary, single-use, sanitary sterilizing wipe for a beverage can. It has a number of can wiping interfaces incorporated into its design that matingly conforms to a standard beverage can, and uses a natural sterilizing fluid that is frictionally wiped onto the can's outer surfaces before drinking from the can. It may be used anywhere by opening the polymer seal, removing the wipe, placing it on the top of a beverage can and twisting it under pressure to sterilize the can.

Vertical Trap

US Patent:
2018011, Apr 26, 2018
Filed:
Oct 25, 2016
Appl. No.:
15/333422
Inventors:
Michael McGrade - West Covina CA, US
International Classification:
A01M 23/24
Abstract:
A snap style vermin trap disposed on a planar platform having an enclosed bait chamber and a partially enclosed actuation chamber. The bait chamber and the actuation chamber are separated by a perforated vertical trip plate. A detachable housing resides about the platform. The snap trap mechanical components are housed in the bait chamber. The design prevents the vermin from ever reaching the bait or contaminating the bait chamber. The vertical trip plate disadvantages the vermin physically and the housing further prevents escape.

Beverage Can Sanitary Seal

US Patent:
2017032, Nov 16, 2017
Filed:
May 12, 2016
Appl. No.:
15/153068
Inventors:
Michael McGrade - West Covina CA, US
Gavin McGrade - West Covina CA, US
International Classification:
B65D 25/20
Abstract:
A unitary, single-use, sanitary seal for a beverage can. It has a number of redundant sealing interfaces incorporated into its design and uses of both friction fit and captive seals. It may be installed at the canning facility or elsewhere by a third party, with or without the use of heating. Its dome construction flexes the side walls and seals outward in an expansive manner to allow installation. To remove, the seal must be destroyed, leaving a visual indication. It allows a conventional six-pack ring to be used as well as the vertical stacking of groupings of cans. Antibacterial agents such as silver, copper, zinc, tin, or the like may optionally be incorporated into the seal's material to enhance or maintain sterility.
