and have served on the boards of Washington Concert Opera (president

secretary) and Eclipse Chamber Orchestra (treasurer). Other interests include history

About:
I've been licensed as an agent in Northern Virginia since in 1978, and in the District of Columbia since 1988. In 1982, I received a broker's license in Virginia. With my partner Jack Hayes, I founded Hayes & Schneider Properties, Inc., a small, full-service real estate company located at 5231 Wilson Blvd., Arlington, VA 22205. Jack retired in 1994, and my wife, Susan Sarcone became my new partner in the business. I 'm presently the principal broker and president. There are also 6 other licensed agents who are affiliated with our company. At Hayes & Schneider, we try to operate in an informal, low-key way. The emphasis is very much on working with our clients, trying to help them with their particular needs. We're all full members of the multiple listing service, but we don't participate in awards programs that emphasize "production" as opposed to professional service. Most of our business is on referral, but we are certainly happy to try to work with anyone!
