About:
My joy is in helping others succeed in the process of buying or selling property. At it's heart, real estate is not so much about the mechanics of a transaction. Although knowing how to write a contract, prepare underlying legal documents, and manage crucial timeframes throughout an escrow is critical, as well as having a sharp eye for detail, being involved in real estate is more about the process one goes through while navigating those mechanics, and being completely tuned in to the buyers'/sellers' needs and concerns. My knowledge of the field, people skills, attention to detail, outstanding customer service, and "can do" attitude sets me apart. I have been an active, licensed California Real Estate Agent/Broker since March 2004. I have a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Liberal Studies, with a Minor in Human Development. Before moving to Mount Shasta in 2003, I lived in the SF Bay Area, where I raised and homeschooled my two children, and worked at a neuroscience-based educational software development company. Helping others grow and learn has been at my core since I was a child; as early as 1st grade, I had a deep desire to teach. I am married to the love of my life-a 'boy' I have known since high school; together we have a passion for real estate and helping others (he is retired CHP). We love to travel the backroads of this great country of ours, meeting and getting to know people, and making new friends...always making new friends.
