US Patent:
6493761, Dec 10, 2002
Filed:
Jul 3, 2001
Appl. No.:
09/898852
Inventors:
Peter D. Baker - Aliso Viejo CA
Karen Neal - Los Angeles CA
Assignee:
NB Networks - Aliso Viejo CA
International Classification:
G06F 1516
US Classification:
709230, 709220, 709223, 709224, 709250, 370401
Abstract:
The invention provides a general-purpose data parsing and analysis system and methods of use. A common system is used for analyzing any data composed of interrelated data structures similar to the protocols found within network frames. A single logic control module is utilized to perform any number of data manipulation functions, for example parsing, filtering, statistics collection and format conversion based upon one or more programmably configurable protocol descriptions, which may be stored in and retrieved from an associated data storage device.

Systems And Methods For General Purpose Data Modification

US Patent:
6651102, Nov 18, 2003
Filed:
Oct 15, 2002
Appl. No.:
10/272471
Inventors:
Peter D. Baker - Aliso Viejo CA
Karen Neal - Los Angeles CA
Assignee:
NB Networks - Aliso Viejo CA
International Classification:
G06F 1516
US Classification:
709230, 709220, 709223, 709224, 709250, 370401
Abstract:
Embodiments of the invention provide a general-purpose data modification system and methods of use. A common system is used for modifying any data composed of interrelated data structures similar to the protocols found in network frames. A common logic control module is configured to perform any number of data modification operations, based on programmably configurable protocol descriptions defining the data modification operations.

Systems And Methods For Prevention Of Peer-To-Peer File Sharing

US Patent:
2004013, Jul 15, 2004
Filed:
Nov 17, 2003
Appl. No.:
10/715954
Inventors:
Peter Baker - Aliso Viejo CA, US
Karen Neal - Los Angeles CA, US
Susan Baker - Aliso Viejo CA, US
Assignee:
NB Networks - Aliso Viejo CA
International Classification:
G06F015/16
US Classification:
709/230000
Abstract:
A secure digital content delivery system includes a content provider and a content user. The content provider delivers encrypted content to the content user in response to delivery requests. The content provider generates encryption algorithms on the fly and encrypts the content prior to delivery, using a different encryption algorithm and key for each content delivery. The content user subsequently requests access permission from the content provider, to access the encrypted content. The content provider grants access by generating an executable decryption module on the fly and providing the executable decryption module to the content user. The content user decrypts the content and accesses it on the fly, using the executable decryption module. The accessed content is then re-encrypted using a different encryption algorithm and key, to preserve the integrity of the secure content delivery system. The content delivery system uses a programmably configurable protocol parsing engine to encrypt and decrypt content.

Systems And Methods For Prevention Of Peer-To-Peer File Sharing

US Patent:
2004016, Aug 26, 2004
Filed:
Feb 25, 2004
Appl. No.:
10/787646
Inventors:
Peter Baker - Aliso Viejo CA, US
Karen Neal - Los Angeles CA, US
Susan Baker - Aliso Viejo CA, US
Assignee:
NB Networks
International Classification:
H04L009/00
US Classification:
705/051000
Abstract:
A secure digital content delivery system includes a content provider and a content user. The content provider delivers encrypted content to the content user in response to delivery requests. The content provider generates encryption algorithms on the fly and encrypts the content prior to delivery, optionally using a different encryption algorithm and key for each content delivery. The content delivery system is able to generate executable code to implement the functions of the protocol parsing engine, to streamline the processing of the content.

Variable Volume Test Chamber

US Patent:
5535637, Jul 16, 1996
Filed:
Mar 15, 1995
Appl. No.:
8/404519
Inventors:
Peter D. Baker - Aliso Viejo CA
Robert H. Weinmann - Laguna Hills CA
Robert Mercado - Lake Forest CA
Christopher W. Nesselroad - Lake Forest CA
Lucy A. Baker - Lake Forest CA
Gilbert J. Bastien - Corona CA
Assignee:
Screening Systems, Inc. - Laguna Hills CA
International Classification:
G01N 1700
E05B 6510
E05B 4700
US Classification:
738656
Abstract:
A testing apparatus which has a test chamber located within a chamber frame. The apparatus includes a computer controlled ergonomic system which can vary the temperature of the test chamber. Within the test chamber is an adjustable ceiling that can be moved to vary the volume of the chamber. Extending around the outer edge of the ceiling is an inflatable seal which seals the chamber when the ceiling is moved to a new position. The ceiling and walls have a plurality of adjustable vents that direct fluid flow into the chamber. The doors of the apparatus are each constructed from an inner wall that is coupled to an outer wall by a plurality of floating joints. The floating joints allow the inner wall to contract or expand relative to the outer wall without creating a corresponding stress on the outer wall or the joints. To prevent an operator from prematurely opening a door after temperature cycling, the door locks are computer controlled so that the doors cannot be unlocked until the test chamber reaches an operator safe condition. The computer also prevents the ceiling from being adjusted until the front doors are opened and the table is pulled out of the chamber.
